We are going to continue to list the concerts and events for the coming week here (as you will note at the bottom of the page). However, all concerts and events that are off on the horizon will be posted on the pages above.
1) Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction – Westworld – Scottsdale – January 17th-23rd – The world famous auto auction is back for another year of auto auction fun. Come see why this is one of the best events on the Phoenix calendar.
2) PF Chang’s Rock n’ Roll Marathon – Phoenx/Scottsdale/Tempe – January 16th – One of the big events on the running calendar this year will see a great many participants battle the marathon and half marathon courses. For those of you who aren’t participating, please note that a good portion of roads, bus services, and other detours will be in effect in and around the marathon course.
3) Tom Green – Tempe Improv – January 13th-15th – Canadian Funnyman Tom Green brings his unique brand of comedy to the Tempe Improv
4) Harlem Globetrotters – January 16th – Jobing.com Arena – Glendale
5) Phoenix Suns – Come watch your Phoenix Suns take on the NBA’s best this season!

8) National Geographic Live! 4-Part Speaker Series – Exploring Mars: The Next Generation – January 19th, 2011 – Mesa Arts Center – NASA Engineer Kobie Boykins, who helped design the famous Mars Rovers, will share the latest discoveries from the Red Planet and preview the next stage in exploration of our closest planetary neighbor.

16) MADCAP Theaters – Tempe – Ongoing – I think by now everyone knows that MADCAP has earned a permanent spot on the best things to do list for the week for the wonderful selection of movies to choose from. Check their listings (click the link) for what’s showing for the given week. You just might find that gem of a movie, a classic or something new and original to watch. MADCAP has it all!
