Legendary R&B superstar Sade is touring for the first time in 10 years. She has announced that she is performing in Phoenix on her tour next year but no show date has been confirmed as of yet.
Bono and The Edge of U2 have been in the news for some time regarding their on again, off again work with the Spider Man musical. U2 has recently debuted a version of a song from that musical on their U2 360 tour recently. Check it out:

Prior to the Sesame Street season premiere on September 27th, the LA Times reported that Katy Perry was due to appear with Elmo on the season premiere performing a re-written version of her song ‘Hot N Cold’. Here’s her performance below:
Well, parents who previewed the clip prior to September 27th didn’t like the sketch due to Ms. Perry’s cleavage. The Sesame Street producers then pulled the sketch from their show.
But that’s not all…
As it just so happens, Katy Perry made an appearance on Saturday Night Live not long after this story and put a humorous spin on it.
Before you head out to the U2 show there are some things you need to know.
1) You WILL NOT be allowed to tailgate in the Parking Lot of University of Phoenix Stadium.
2) Parking at the Westgate City Center or the University of Phoenix stadium parking lot will cost you $20
3) Get there early. This has been an amazing show since it started in Europe in June
4) You are allowed to Video Tape the show. The band is taking a page from Nine Inch Nails ‘Wave Goodbye Tour’ and are allowing fans to Video Tape the show. U2 wants fans to upload the video to their website and if you look on YouTube there is a LARGE repository of footage documenting the entire tour.
5) The Edge has created an Twitter account (which hasn’t been publicized on U2′s website at all) and has been documenting the entire U2 360 tour outside of the shows themselves via his blackberry phone camera. It’s not really U2 related, think of it as a facinating art project. Here’s the URL:
Great things going on the next week! The Phoenix Symphony open their new season this weekend, tickets for the Arizona State Fair concerts go on sale Saturday, AVP and Star Wars are coming to town!!!

2) The Arizona Cardinals will be opening up the 2009 season with a home game at the University of Phoenix Stadium. The game will be on Fox 10.
3) This is a Bye week for the ASU Football Team. The next game will be at home against Louisiana-Monroe on September 19th.
4) 10 Minute Play Showcase – Space 55 – $10 – A very unique showcase of theatrical talent is making another appearance at Space 55 in downtown Phoenix. If you are a fan of theater, you’ll really dig this. No play is longer than 10 minutes long. Come see creativity and local culture in action!
