AZ Vibe – The Ultimate Phoenix Entertainment Resource

Where Phoenix goes to find out what's really going on!

The Phoenix Coyotes will be playing this coming Friday Afternoon at 2:00 PM versus the Colorado Avalanche. I normally don’t post individual game events as they are all on the calendar. However, there are reasons why this is a fun event that should be mentioned (other than this being just a Hockey Game):

1) The Coyotes will be debuting their new 3rd Jersey (Click Link for More info)

2) They will be selling ‘All-You-Can-Eat’ package tickets. The Package includes an upper level ticket, unlimited hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, peanuts, and fountain sodas. Click here to purchase tickets for this game!

3) The Coyotes ‘Leading Ladies’ (The Coyotes players wives/girlfriends) will be hosting the ‘Biscuit in the Basket’ Food Drive at the game. Fans are asked to bring non-perishable boxed and canned food items at donation stations outside Gate 4 and Gate 7. All fans who donate food will be entered to win a Coyotes Jersey signed by the entire team and four (4) glass seats to a future Coyotes game. All food donated benefits the Salvation Army.  Click here for more information.

With all these exciting events going on, why not head on out to the Coyotes game on Friday!

Ok I totally forgot to list this when Spring Training Ended a few months back.  Once the Major League Baseball season starts up, the Rookies on the given teams that hold spring training around the Phoenix Area have their own season.

So, you can have the chance not only to see some cheap baseball but possibly see some potential superstars in the making.

Below is the link to the teams that make up the Arizona Summer League.  Just click on one of the team logos and it will take you to the information on how to get to the various ball parks.

http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/leagues/ip_index.jsp?sid=milb&lid=l121

The only problem with the links are that none of the teams have a list of prices for the games nor do they have phones that are answered during the day.  I can’t imagine that it would cost that much but I’ll probably check one of the games out in the next week or so.

Another season of Coyotes hockey is quickly approaching! For those of you who caught the Coyotes in Action in person or on TV know that Coach Wayne Gretzky has clearly taken this team to a new level. They look to build upon their successes of last season with a new season, new players, and a new goal….THE PLAYOFFS!

The Phoenix Coyotes will open their 2008/2009 home stand at home versus the Columbus Blue Jackets and will be working all season long to bring the playoffs back to the Valley of the Sun.

Come see Captain Shane Doan, All-Star Defenseman Ed Jovanovski, Peter Mueller, Superstar Goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov, Phenom Prospect Kyle Turris, and everyone’s favorite stud Daniel Carcillo in action as they take on the the best that the NHL has to offer.
