1) The Phoenix Symphony -- Opens their 2009/2010 season tonight and tomorrow by performing Beethoven’s 9th. For more information and tickets:
2) The Arizona Cardinals will be opening up the 2009 season with a home game at the University of Phoenix Stadium. The game will be on Fox 10.
3) This is a Bye week for the ASU Football Team. The next game will be at home against Louisiana-Monroe on September 19th.
4) 10 Minute Play Showcase -- Space 55 -- $10 -- A very unique showcase of theatrical talent is making another appearance at Space 55 in downtown Phoenix. If you are a fan of theater, you’ll really dig this. No play is longer than 10 minutes long. Come see creativity and local culture in action!

TropicalVibes, Arizona’s premier school of salsa dance, is having it’s 2nd Saturday Salsa Party again Sept. 12th. We wanted to give you heads up on the themed event! This will be a black and white salsa gala, where everyone is asked to dress up in their best black and white couture! Champagne, or
wine, and hors d’oeuvres will be served, a chocolate fountain, and silent auctions from Molina jewelers, cookie lee, there will be shoe vendors, raffle and door prizes. Performances by
TropicalVibes, Ritmo Caliente, Bridgette Maria, Rumba Azteca, and Salvaje…will be incredible to say the least!
This gala is geared towards raising money for our dancers to travel and perform abroad next year and put towards new costumes! We are not asking for money, just your attendance, so tell everyone you know!!! 20% of vendor sales go towards our benefit!
Door fee is $10.00, this includes a glass of wine or champagne, your salsa lesson of choice and a free ticket into the door prize raffles(dance shoes, jewelry, salsa lessons)!
Doors open at 830pm, lessons at 930pm, performances between 1030pm and 11pm and salsa dancing until 1am! Come out and dance with us!!
