Sol Martinez Bio:

Arizona Native Sol Martinez has been an integral part of the surging Phoenix dance music scene for over a decade. From the very beginning this DJ has been on a mission to make people dance through the vibe of house music, in all its forms.

Sol’s DJ resume includes a wide variety clubs, festivals, and radio shows… he has also spun at nearly every reputable venue in Arizona, as well events in California and Miami including the Ultra Music Festival. His work has earned him awards such as AZ’s House DJ of the Year & New Times’ DJ Spinoff winner. Most recently Sol has taken much pride in co-creating and running one of the Valley’s most successful weeklies: “FUSE Fridays”. “FUSE” (created and run by Sol & partner DJ Mara) is known for bringing in some of the best underground talent from around the country and globe such as Congorock, Tittsworth, Drop the Lime, Harvard Bass, L-Vis 1990, Nadastrom, DJ DLG, & many more…He’s also been specifically requested to open for dj’s such as Laidback Luke, Benny Benassi, DJ Craze, & Bart B More to name a few.

To see Sol behind the tables is to see someone who is truly passionate about his craft. He is always on top of the most cutting edge sounds from around the world, has the ability to build a story through his sets spanning a widespread knowledge of house music, knows just the right time to bring in a classic beat or vocal, and displays his strong technical abilities mixing at times on 3-4 decks, all while feeding off the energy of the crowd and exhibiting a vibrant stage presence.
